How and at what times should I take Acurmin PLUS?
We recommend taking 2 capsules per day. To provide your body with an optimal, sustainable supply of turmeric throughout the day, it is best to take one capsule of Acurmin PLUS with plenty of fluids at breakfast and dinner. There are no known adverse effects if you take two capsules at the same time.
How is Acurming PLUS high dosage when it contains approx. 28mg turmeric?
With turmeric products, the curcumin dosage is less important than how much curcumin is absorbed in the body. As curcumin is liposoluble, it is excreted from the body in very high quantities. The micellar form of turmeric in Acurmin PLUS means that the substance is absorbed by the body up to 185 times better than traditional turmeric products. At the recommended daily dose of 2 capsules of Acurmin PLUS (1,000 mg), the bioequivalent of approximately 10 to 12 grams of native extract powder is absorbed.
Is taking Acurmin PLUS long term possible/sensible?
We recommend taking Acurmin PLUS on a long-term basis. Taking at least 2 capsules per day can build up long-term curcumin levels and maintain them at a stable level over a longer period. Cells and organisms can therefore be optimally treated with micellar turmeric.
Are there side effects to taking Acurmin PLUS?
No, turmeric is non-toxic and easily digested. There are no known side effects of Acurmin PLUS. However, as studies show that turmeric stimulates bile flow and promotes the digestion of heavy, fatty foods, Acurmin PLUS should not be taken by people with biliary obstruction or other bile duct disorders.
