Today, turmeric, the main ingredient of Acurmin PLUS – Micellar Turmeric, is one of the most well-researched natural remedies. A number of studies carried out by renowned research institutes have addressed its health potential. Biologist Dr Andreas Schubert’s team identifies plant-based substances that have a positive impact on the immune system and improve health as natural preparations.
Excellent bioavailability
Curcumin is naturally liposoluble and is only resorbed in the intestine in very limited quantities. Only a small fraction of the substance is therefore available in the human body, and it is predominantly excreted again without being used. Traditional turmeric preparations with piperine/black pepper only achieve slightly increased bioavailability and can trigger digestive issues in many people.
Acurmin PLUS has no known side effects and also increases bioavailability 185-fold – without the addition of piperine.

Acurmin PLUS – Long-term care with micellar turmeric
Traditional formulations cannot stabilise curcumin levels in the blood on a long-term, sustained basis. Studies have shown that taking curcumin on an irregular basis decreases long-term levels in the blood, which makes it harder to ensure optimal treatment with curcumin.
Acurmin PLUS is the first product to increase blood curcumin levels sustainably and keep them stable. So even if you don’t take Acurmin PLUS for some time, blood curcumin levels remain increased over a long period.

We set the highest standards for our product research, safety and quality. Recently, there have been increasing cases of turmeric and curcumin extracts being diluted or synthesised, sometimes with harmful substances and unforeseeable effects on health. Every batch of our turmeric capsules is therefore tested using the extensive C14 radiocarbon method in addition to the usual microbiological analyses.
This analysis procedure, originally used in palaeontology, detects the carbon isotope C14 found in turmeric extract and missing in synthetic turmeric products. C14 certification therefore guarantees a pure, high-quality product with no synthetic curcumin – for better safety and quality.
